Ronin Capital is looking to a hire an exceptional Java Developer to join a small team developing a high-performance, automated system for trading futures at a sizable scale. This is a profitable trading group with an exceptional platform, both financial and technical, looking to expand and further the innovation. This position will be located in our Oakland, CA office, next to Lake Merritt, downtown.

• 4+ years Java software development experience in a team environment.
• BS in or equivalent a technical field is required, advanced degree is preferred.
• Java tuning experience in multi-threaded/multi-processor environment.
• Experience with Trading Systems, FIX or market data feed handlers preferred.
• Strong object-oriented analysis & design skills, experience in Client/Server programming in a multi-threaded/multi-processor environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills. Must be creative.
• Must be a motivated self-starter who is willing to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Good team player with strong commitment to working collaboratively and contributing in a small highly-focused team environment and being held accountable for achieving business goals.
• Strong math background.
• Familiarity with Ant, Berkeley DB, Eclipse, Java Performance Tuning, Solaris 10, Swing, SVN, TCP, UDP, XML, Your Kit.
